OCTO's CPF Program

The OCTO CPF U.S. Department of the Treasury Capital Projects Fund (CPF) Broadband Infrastructure Project Grant is an opportunity for Internet Service Providers to build new broadband infrastructure that will deliver reliable, affordable, high-speed internet to homes, businesses, and community institutions. This initiative is part of the District's continued commitment to closing the digital divde and ensuring that every resident has access to high-quality connectivity.

The OCTO CPF Broadband Infrastructure Project will simultaneously create two new assets. This includes both the creation of new privately owned and operated middle mile and last mile capital assets in Ward 5, as well as a new government owned and operated middle mile and last mile broadband infrastructure capital assets in Ward 5. The operation of these new capital assets will directly enable greater access to work, education, and health-monitoring.
