DC BEAD CHALLENGE RESULTS

Notice: As a requirement of the District of Columbia’s BEAD Initial Proposal Vol. 2,
The District of Columbia’s State Broadband and Digital Equity Office (DC SBDEO) has completed the District’s BEAD Challenge Process to determine eligible BEAD locations. DC SBDEO has a vision for the District in which every resident and every business, in every corner of DC, can live, work, and thrive in the digital age – without bias or barriers.

 

Our goal is to ensure that every District resident is able to access high-quality broadband service.
The formal challenge process began September 17, 2024 and ended on December 10, 2024 ,
with results directly impacting location eligibility.
